Rare Diseases International (RDI) is the global alliance of PLWRD of all nationalities across all rare diseases.
RDI brings together national and regional RD patient organizations as well as international federations for specific diseases and multi-stakeholder groups.
Our mission
RDI’s mission is to be a strong common voice on behalf of PLWRD around the world. Our goals include:
- Advocating for rare diseases as an international public health priority
- Representing and empowering our member organizations
- Building our members capacity through knowledge exchange, networking, mutual support, and joint actions
RDI partners with experts from the academic, private, and public sectors to ensure the relevance and enhance the impact of its activities.
